Open to Life – Workshops and classes – 5Rhythms – Opening to Intimacy, Field of Love Summer Camp, London & UKParticipants' feedback
There has always been a warm welcome by Tim when I have arrived at weekend camps, with tea brewing on the open fire. There's been plenty of time to connect with the other participants before the first dance session in the bell tent. In sessions Tim offered creative movement exploration with the group which I loved as well as the 5Rhythms. The dance and ...

Field of Love 2024, Sheila
As on my previous journeys with Tim, I alway find his Five Rhythms offering incredibly powerful. The intensity of his weekend camp amplifies this experience considerably. Creating an environment where I can feel open and accepted, to feel like I’m home. The smoothness of the weekend is a testament to both Tim’s and Peter’s skills and hard work.Jay
Five Rhythms Dance Camp 2024, Jay
Tim created the camp within beautiful surroundings and felt safe and secluded. There was lots of time to connect with the others as well as having the dance sessions. The group meditation in the bell tent each morning gave a sense of peace within myself followed by dancing together the 5Rhythms, opening to creative exploration of movement and loved the heartfelt experiences. Tim facilitated ...

The class was well structured and the class leader very informative. I felt you could be as abandoned as you wanted in your dancing style, and "let it all go", with no inhibitions. I liked it when people came up to dance with me and then left with a namaste (or hands together). Jules

It was a wonderful event - would love to come again to another one - a lovely mix of free dancing with helpful guidance - Tim was an enigmatic and experienced leader who made us feel we were in safe hands - he guided the process beautifully. A fab afternoon. Catherine

Five Rhythms Dance Class 2023
I was a bit apprehensive to start with as I have never been to anything like that before but I loved it so much. Tim made the session so much fun but also thought provoking. I felt I could just let go and be myself. Michelle
Five Rhythms Dance Class 2023
Having booked the “Opening to Intimacy” workshop I found myself feeling unsure about attending and even had second thoughts on the day. I am pleased I stayed and found that I learnt a lot. In fact I would say that a positive inner shift has occurred. Tim is a safe, kind and experienced teacher and I appreciated his guidance and compassion. I liked ...
The weekend was a fabulous opportunity to dance, be out in nature and find good company. It has been my first weekend of dance in Britain and after seeing Tim’s website I was confident that this would be a good place for me, the weekend was friendly and robustly held by Tim, so as participants we could step into the dance of the ...
"One of the skills that Tim displays in the group – a skill that contributes to the quality of the connections between the members – is his ability to be simultaneously the one who holds the space and to be a member within the space. He can achieve this because he has a very light, non-controlling “touch.” Also because he simply enjoys being there. All such ...

"Wonderful site for the gathering, being held in a huge natural bowl on the top of the hill with the beautiful bell-tent at its center which felt secluded and supportive.Tim led the group in his gentle way without a lot of formal structure - and the relaxed time-keeping was in tune with the relaxed atmosphere." "I have come home from this 8-day camp with my heart filled and glowing with life. Living in nature, in such a warm-hearted group was exactly what I needed. My whole being has relaxed. I feel more alive than I have in a long time. It was a moving and connected experience - and above all it was REAL. These spaces are so rare in ...

"I had little idea of what to expect of the weekend.I didn’t even know Tim very well but somehow I trusted that he would deliver something meaningful. That’s what he did, with his relaxed manner understating the depth of what was happening in the background. We all grew in confidence as the group began to gel so that even the most anxious were able to relax ...
Opening to Intimacy Workshop May 2022
"I found Tim sensitive and present throughout the two day intimacy workshop. One exercise on the second day was particularly difficult for me yet Tim - carefully and clearly working with the support of the whole group - focused thoughtfully on my issue which I appreciated and benefited from." "I was a little apprehensive and unsure what to expect in the workshop however I quickly felt relaxed after meeting the lovely course participants. Tim created a safe relaxed and non-judgemental space that provided me with the freedom to connect with my feelings and share with the group. I was surprised when one of the exercises triggered a childhood wound which caused me to freeze. ...

"This was the first time I had attended a workshop like this so I was very nervous. However, I was almost instantly put at ease once we started. The small group size meant I felt very comfortable, and the space was held with a huge amount of care, sensitivity and awareness by Tim - his depth of knowledge in this field is clear. I was ...

"Working over a series of sessions with a group of people on the core issues of openness, and the meaning of intimacy was a beautiful heart-warming experience. My experiential learnings have fed back into my life relationships and enriched and deepened them. The exercises can be used beautifully with that special other, and I am grateful for this." Anon
Opening to Intimacy Workshop Feb 2022
"I was so scared to admit that I needed to explore why I always seemed to block myself in intimate relationships, and this wonderful workshop does not disappoint. In a safe space I was able to practise skills that I didn’t realise I had and learn new insights about my own patterns. I have reflected on so much, grown emotionally and met some other lovely ...
Opening to Intimacy Workshop 2022
"When I arrive I feel I bring with me a commitment to being true to myself and open to others in the group. Let go of all habits of hiding thoughts and feelings: Stay open with my feelings and willing to hear others express their feelings even when they may be hurtful. Whether hurtful or joyful, such honesty is an opportunity for insight. Significant among the insights I ...
Being Together October Camp 2021
"The camp offered a much needed space to re-connect with myself surrounded by nature and wonderful people. I came back feeling uplifted and exhilarated. The structure of the day worked well, and Tim was very sensitive to the needs of the group as a whole and to each person individually. The combination of the dance, circles, meditations, talks around the fire and communal cooking created ...

Being Together September Camp 2021
"Summer Camp recharges my energy and nourishes my heart and soul. I arrive feeling world weary and worn out by personal traumas and challenges, yet I don't come to camp for a rest! Somehow, by engaging with the safe Community that Tim facilitates, becoming fully immersed in the 5 Rhythms dancing, campfire, discussions, cooking, workshops and yet more dancing, I leave feeling energised and ready to ...

"I love to dance and to meditate, and to have the space to breathe and be, that in my busy London life I rarely find. There are wonderful people at this camp, and great musicians, as well as a variety of other music to dance to that I also enjoy. There is freedom and safety in a good balance, in this co-created camp, led with ...

"I loved the camp. I left feeling reborn after such a difficult year. It was a beautiful blessing to me and I am eternally grateful to you for creating the space. Field of Love Spring Camp 2021
"As ever the summer camp was rich in so many different ways. The simplicity of living on the land, the warmth of community, old friendships, new friendships, the wealth of life experience listened to and learnt from, and the opportunity to really pause and look inwards at whatever is there - all of this is invaluable to me. This was my tenth consecutive camp and ...
Field of Love Summer Camp 2021
"This was my first camp. I have danced at Kew for many years, but never managed a camp until now. I had heard of the rave reviews from other dancers, but never really understood what their fervor was really about. Now I get it. It was the most incredible, ecstatic, life-affirming experience. Never mind the weather, or the 4 hour drive to get there. Once we ...

Being Together June Camp 2021
"The 5Rhythms dance camp is the highlight of my year - to be off grid, living in nature, and dancing every day. I love the camping and the deep restfulness of living close to the earth, Cooking and brewing tea on an open wood fire takes longer than flicking a switch, so everything slows down and we drop into a different experience of time - it ...
